Tirsdag 23. mai ønsker Antirasistisk Senter, AUF og Tankesmien Agenda velkommen til en heldagskonferanse på Håndverkeren i Oslo, hvor innledere fra flere land vil gi et bredt bilde av utfordringen fra ytre høyre fløy i USA og Europa.
I flere land er høyrepopulistiske partier med varierende grad av forgreninger inn i høyreekstreme miljøer, på frammarsj. Etter Donald Trumps valgseier i USA gikk Marine le Pen nylig til andre runde i kampen om å bli Frankrikes nye president. I Tyskland er høyreradikale AfD i ferd med å etablere seg som en maktfaktor, i Storbritannia bidro Nigel Farage og UKIP sterkt inn mot Brexit, i Østerrike var Frihetspartiet nylig tett på å vinne presidentvalget, og i vårt eget naboland fortsetter Sverigedemokraterna å vokse.
Sju innledere fra USA, Frankrike/Storbritannia, Tyskland, Østerrike, Sverige og Norge vil belyse dagens situasjon og utfordringene vi har foran oss.
Konferansen er gratis, og inkluderer enkel lunsj. Ingen påmelding. Konferansespråket er engelsk. Vel møtt!
(Konferansen var opprinnelig lagt til Utøya. Den er flyttet til Oslo sentrum for å gjøre det lettere å delta.)
